Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 2024 AA Restaurant of the Year (England). Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.     Staff is just perfect, they’re attentive and friendly. Food was amazing and it’s great to see more vegan options, 2 other companions said that’s the best beef wellington they had. Well done everyone!

    This is a delightful pub, with good lighting, superb food and great, friendly service. We shared the monkfish Wellington special and it was sublime. It could have done with a tiny bit less salt, but otherwise it was perfection, the flavours of the vermouth, the nicely seasoned pomme purée and the jus went so well together and we felt the concept of a non-beef Wellington was exciting and bold. And it worked!! Paired it with a very nice Chenin blanc. Our antipodean waitress was quirky and charming and service was excellent. We shall definitely be back!

    Food tremendous - met the head chef and team - seriously good. Service was so friendly and thoroughly professional. A relaxed environment but an upmarket one too. Brilliant all round and worth every penny. We were just a table of 3, but can tell had it would also be great for bigger parties and special events. Dog friendly in the bar area too which was great for us. Thank you Greyhound team!

    A lovely experience. The food and wine was amazing with very good service from the staff . A busy Valentine night but the staff was still very attentive and there was no long waits for food or drinks . Highly recommend this restaurant and price was reasonable for all that we ate and drank .
