- HHelenSan Francisco Bay Area •22 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoLovely ambiance!! I requested ,on Open Table a window view for a table of 10. We got that in a private room. This being a birthday lunch, the privacy was wonderful!!! The food was delicious and served immediately after we were seated! This because we were the first round. Our reservation was 11:00; we were asked if we could vacate the room by 12:30. That was fine since since we were served so quickly (yet courteously). Peking Duck with buns..superb! All other dim sum items outstanding and authentic. Suggestion: If you have a large party of 10 or more, go early!!! The restaurant was bustling with every table occupied by 11:00 that morning!More infoHarborview Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.5
- CClaudeVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •106 reviews4.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024I was a little surprised at the clam chowder, which is shellfish in a broth, not the creamy kind I am used to. It was good, but it is a lot of work to separate the clams from their shells, dispose of the shells, then dig out the clams from withinthe broth. Interesting experience! The shrimp risotto was excellent, the Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc accompanied it well, and to finish, the affogato was really nice. Mency was attentive and professional. And we had a perfect table, in the corner overlooking the water. The weather was drizzly and foggy, which the restaurant can't control (I'm sure they wish they could), so I'll try to be back when I can enjoy the view.More infoBarrel House TavernPrice: Expensive• Californian• Sausalito•4.6
