Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Historic District - North

My husband and I ate appetizers only for dinner, along with glasses of wine. All were good, but the crab cake was a little too bready. The octopus was less tender than we've had elsewhere. The she crab soup lacked sufficient spice and was lighter than we've had elsewhere, almost milky. We asked for extra sherry, which helped the flavor. The crawfish beignets were disappointing, also. They were not light enough and needed more crawfish. Our server Kalena was very attentive and said whether she liked each appetizer that we chose.

We’ve been regular customers for 15 yrs & every visit has been memorable … from the time we enter the restaurant, to greeting our server. Tonite it was Jasmine Outstanding service! Very good food and nice choices, great service. It was Thanksgiving - reservations only, which we had. However, it seemed like they overbooked. We were finally seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. It took an hour to get our soup & salad and very long waits between courses. We were not out of there for over three hours! We’d try it again on a non-holiday night.

Really good food! Loved the crab dip and raw oysters! Our waitress was great, checked in on us multiple times, and food came out in good timing. Grilled red snapper was delicious!

We enjoyed a nice outdoor dining experience with live entertainment. Our server Kimberly was excellent!
