Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Nunburnholme

A "Gastronomic Epiphany " . From the warm welcome on arrival,the friendly and attentive staff to the cosy and historic surroundings, it was the perfect setting to what was probably going to be one of my most memorable dining experiences. We both ordered the fabled "steak n ale" pie with a side of cauliflower cheese. We deliberately abstained from a starter so that we would be able to fully appreciate the main. We were not disappointed ! The pie,gravy,garlic mash and side were sublime. We will be back.

This restaurant was a recommend from friends who had visited in November from Merseyside. We were also delighted with the whole experience. A wide selection of food to suit all and reasonably priced.

We had a lovely lunch at the Refectory yesterday. We had the 3 course set menu and the food was fresh and good value for money. A super meal and fine dining.

A very relaxed lunch with work colleagues. Good choice of food and drink for all appetites and some nice non-alcohol / veggie / vegan options. Service was relaxed and friendly and we could keep our table for as long as we wanted. The interior was lovely and beautifully clean. Would definitely book again!

The services were really good. But the food is not worth the money. Especially the pork belly. You pay almost £12 for 2 small pieces of pork!! But. Overall I am happy with the service and will visit again.
