Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Chelsea

Fantastic experience! We arrived early and they were able to seat us. I ordered the meatloaf and my husband ordered the vegetarian stew. Both meals were delicious. Service was exceptional and very fast (thank you to our server Devon). I would def recommend and will return.

We love this restaurant. The pepperoni pizza is a must for us after the theater - really thin crust! Everything at Bond 45 is very good - you can't go wrong. Service is always great. Nice ambience.

Had a lovely Holiday lunch with a friend who I worked with for many years, both retired now and living in different boroughs. The food was excellent and the waitress could not have been any nicer, always checking to see if we were happy and if we needed anything. Great place to get together with family or friends especially in the Holiday Season with Union Square Market so close by! Can’t wait to come back!

The food was spectacular - from appetizers through the fresh fish to the desserts. Service was excellent. The prices are a bit steep, but the experience is worth it if you can afford it. My only gripe was the noise. They could benefit from some simple noise dampening techniques (tapestries on the walls and ceilings, for example).

Great reviews , an Oyster happy hour and 10 min walk to a 7 pm Broadway show made us try this place for a 5 pm reservation. This was the week before Christmas and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Started with a dozen plump Blue Points @ the amazing price of $18 before happy hour ended at 5:30. Followed with yummy not-to-garlicky escargot with perfectly toasted crostini and a smooth liver pate accompanied by a refreshing French Fume Blanc. Finished with a perfectly cooked charred octopus which could only been better if there was more than one tentacle. And those were just the appetizers!
