Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Hyde Park

My son loved all the seafood he had/ all the types of oysters, octopus and caviar. I really appreciated the vegetarian option/ cauliflower “steak.” Nice atmosphere, good service.

Our server was amazing! Great vide! Just there for drinks before the show! When a mixed drink came to strong she immediately could see something was wrong on my first sip. Took it back to to rectify! 2nd one was perfect. Chatted with us and told us about karaoke, line dancing and drag brunch. Super bubbly and enjoying her job. Will definitely be back!

The food was well worth the price. We had the chicken fried lobster and the crab capellini. The lobster was incredible with the southern hot honey twist. The crab cake, lobster bisque, and calamari were also phenomenal. I would highly recommend. For two people the appetizer, a soup or salad each, and the entree were plenty of food for two people (we also got the pecan turtle cheesecake which is huge). We also got a side order of the delicious truffle mashed potatoes but it was something we had to box up.

Always love coming to this Serafina location, the food and service is simply excellent! Highly recommend, one of the best in the city!

The food was outstanding--dishes with wonderful and unique flavors. We had the duck confit and bass, also the the burrata (fabulous!) and delicious deserts. The ambiance was great as well. My daughter and I had gone for dinner after attending SoWa. Marseille was so special we decided to splurge on the fixed price menu ($60 per person for appetizer, entree, and desert) and called it her birthday dinner. Well worth every penny!
