Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Arlington

Legal has been revitalized over the last year and a half. A renewed menu but above all far better quality and service.

Love the cozy vibe of the upstairs restaurant. They did a good job making this place feel like a refined, neighborhood spot in a new development, which is hard to do. We had excellent service and really enjoyed the food. The desserts were a little heavy/unrefined which is the only reason for 4 star not five on food, the appetizers and entrees were excellent. Would absolutely come back.

Went there for the first time last night on Valentine’s Day. This is one of the new restaurants that has opened up in the alewife area now that there’s a lot of housing. They have nice friendly staff, but the service is a bit slow because they seemed understaffed with waiters. They have a bar shuffleboard table that’s kinda nice. Wasn’t crazy about the cocktail choices. Place seems to mostly cater to youger couples and our families with kids who live in the area. Food is average in my opinion, but not overpriced as the most expensive entrée is $31 and most are in the mid 20s. Also if you’re vegan or vegetarian, there aregood options here. The empanadas were very tasty. The dumplings are really thick on the dough and chewy  and then my wife, and I agreed that the vegetarian filling was a bit dry so you really needed to have with the spicy dipping sauce. The Bolognese was massively overcooked, and while the flavor of the sauce was good the pasta was an absolute mush. That dish was the biggest disappointment for me. The shaved brussels sprouts salad was quite tasty though with halloumi. I probably won’t go back as it’s not my scene and I prefer a higher level of dining. 

Really appreciated the server's/establishments flexibility on a busy night. I had a root canal that morning, so had to ask for my meal (classic burger) with everything on the side (bacon, cheese, carmemlized onion, etc). They did it with a smile and I really appreciated it.

Great burger. Half the calamari app was just fried peppers.
