Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Tampa

We went to celebrate a special occasion in our family. We chose to see the flamenco dance show which was excellent. Our waiter was exceptional. He offered suggestions about meal choices and wine choices an was spot on with both. Take time to read the menu with its history and traditions. Such a memorable dining experience for our family.

Bouzy was a fun experience, but it’s probably better to stick to drinks. We had the pork bao buns, which did not have a lot of flavor or a lot of meat, especially for the price. And the $45 10oz NY strip steak did not appear to be anywhere near a 10oz portion and also came out extremely rare (ordered MR) which meant the fat did not render at all. Out server was great, but for a $185 meal the food was not impressive.

Charley’s is our go-to when we are in Tampa. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The Bison Ribeye was perfectly prepared, the baked potato was one of the best we’ve ever had. We sat at the bar, and were somewhat disappointed with the service. We typically choose to sit at the bar when we go to Charley’s because the bartenders are always great—super informative, friendly and helpful. Last night something was missing with the service we received. Again, the food was remarkable as always.

Overall was a good experience. However we arrived a little bit earlier and were asked to wait outside the restaurant. I cannot believe that a one michelin star doesn’t have a bar where people can wait for their table, or they could have offered a welcome drink at least. Also, I didn’t like the fact that the service was a bit too fast, the food is very good and flavorful and if you bring the dishes at a fast pace you don’t have the time to clean your palate in between courses.

Food and service were great! Ava is consistent! Pasta was amazing! Old Fashion was delicious. Highly recommend the bread service. Its special!
