- RRobertNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI used to live in the neighborhood but hadn't been back in a number of years. We went back to celebrate a milestone anniversary at the restaurant's "new" location. Simply stated, "it was perfect." The food, the service, the welcoming atmosphere, all fabulous, old- school greatness.More infoHenry's EndPrice: Expensive• American• Brooklyn Heights•4.8

The ambience feels special (and cozy) with subtle lighting, fresh flowers everywhere, as well as twinkling white lights and candles, and views of the garden patio. One member of our party was delayed in their arrival, and the restaurant graciously waited before beginning service, and never pressured us about the unexpected delay. The timing of every aspect of the entire evening was impeccable, with servers patiently waiting an appropriate amount of time at every stage of ordering and serving. The food was delicious with every course was prepared beautifully. We had the Beef Wellington, Rib Eye, and Halibut. For dessert, we all enjoyed chocolate soufflés and the waiters brought an extra plate of bite sized treats for a birthday we were celebrating. It was an evening we will never forget and we will undoubtedly return to One If By Land for special occasions, if we are lucky enough to secure a reservation!More infoOne if by Land, Two if by SeaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Greenwich Village•4.6

- GGlenNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoA truly exceptional dining experience; we started with the beets and the octopus which were both delicious and had an excellent Californian Zinfandel, the kitchen sent us a complimentary pasta dish which contained uni and lobster, this was also exquisite. For our entrees my date had the truffle pasta which she enjoyed thoroughly, I was going to order the rabbit but after being notified it was not available I went for the duck which was very nice and perfectly cooked. To end our meal we shared the pear miso tart and a scoop of honey and plum icecream. This dessert was so beautiful it pained us to break into it, but the flavors were extraordinary and each bite was bliss. This delicious meal and wine, although pricey, accompanied by warm efficient service made for a perfect dinner and date night.
