Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Edmonton / Northern Alberta

The service at The Keg is second to none in Edmonton. My wife has a food allergy and the attention of staff and management is characteristic of the Kea Lani Fairmont in Maui. we have always been impressed but our most recent visit was over the top. Don't expect to just walk in and sit down because the word is definitely out as to how terrific a Keg visit is

We enjoyed the New Year’s Day Brunch at La Ronde. Kevin, our server, was attentive and filled our glasses with lots of juice, water and coffee throughout our meal. The server at the Omelette Station was kind and I enjoyed a nice brief conversation with him while my omelette was being made. The people at reception and coat check were great, too. It has been several years since we dined at La Ronde and will need to come back soon for more good meals and views.

We dined for New Years Eve, busy but the staff did a great job and provided excellent service. The meal and drinks were fantastic.

Continental Treat Bistro offered an exceptional dining experience. While a central feature of the restaurant is that all the food is gluten free, you wouldn't even know it if you were not told. I had the daily special pierogis, which were stuffed with curry chicken and topped with butter chicken sauce. They were flavorful, well-cooked, and the serving was generous. My wife had the sauerkraut and wild mushroom pierogis and swapped the wild mushroom sauce for the Hungarian goulash sauce. She thought the combination was perfect. My mother in law had the German Meat Cabbage Roll which was ample and served with a tomato sauce. She also reported her meal was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a definite Eastern European feel.

Great menu. Nice portions and pace of meal. Excellent wine pairing. A little loud. Several miss behaving young children were present and detracted from the overall experience.
