It seems to me the quality and preparation of their steaks have changed. The tenders and ease of the cut is not there. We have been to both Capitol Grilles in Phoenix Metropolitan. I have been very disappointed. The cheese cake has always been a wonderful treat and it is still good, the crust is different, it’s hard, not flaky, anymore. The cheese cake is not rich and the texture is different. These are just my observations. The service and ambience is top notch every time. Our waitress was very efficient and endearing. The last thing I would mention is the noise level. So many restaurants in Scottsdale play very loud music which brings up the level of sound to make it unable to talk to someone sitting right next to you. Ocean 44 was perfect.
