Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Oranjestad

Food was absolutely phenomenal better than higher priced yamaji in my opinion. We come every year and always consistent.

The restaurant is situated in a shopping area but it is protected by plants and overall has a nice ambience. The menu is delicious, especially the dover sole for two which our guests enjoyed. I loved the wild boar and my husband enjoyed the lamb chops. I chose the Markham Merlot by the glass but the rest of the table enjoyed a lovely Pinot Noir from a nice selection of bottled wines. There was not entertainment during the week; however, on Sundays there is a delightful vocalist. We will be back!!!

Top notch and a must visit while in Aruba. From the moment you receive your complimentary glass of bubbly T the hostess desk to the end of the dining experience at your beautifully dressed seaside table under the stars surrounded by tiki torches, you will love this experience. Our hostess, Jessica and server, Denise, were exceptional in kindness and service. The lighted menu was so appreciated. The complimentary bread basket with fresh crusty rolls, seasoned butter or olive tapenade, was a very nice start. All meals were delicious, piping hot when delivered, and reasonable ($28-$40). We chose not to add drinks and appetizers as the entree came with two sides (ie jasmine rice & asparagus with the teriyaki salmon, one dish you could order as a “small plate”, perfect for a lighter eater who always has left overs) so the bill per couple was around $75. The ocean breezes, sound of the waves so close-by and live saxophone playing throughout the evening made our night one to remember. On our last night of staying in Aruba, we decided to try this place… we loved it! When we arrived, we were placed by an outdoor table, probably because they had live singer performing, but asked to be seated inside. This restaurant is on the intimate side and most of the seating for dinner is outside in front of the hotel which is by the parking lot. For us, inside was perfect—Quiet & relaxed. We could still hear the singer. The two drinks I got were well crafted. The food was really good and so far it’s been the highest quality of dining that we’ve had on the island. We tried their escargot, onion soup, porcini risotto, linguine pasta with shrimp and lobster, and tiramisu all of which were great. Big shoutout to Andres who tended to us frequently and gave great food and drink recommendations. And to the owner who went to each table and spoke to everyone who dined that evening. Overall we were very pleased with the meal and service. We will definitely come back.
