Best Restaurants for Birthdays in El Cajon / Lakeside

The service was awful. They also tacked on a five dollar service fee for a party of four and nobody could explain what it was for. My recommendation is to make sure you check your receipt. It is not uncommon for them to try and overcharge you for the breakfast buffet.

Bleu Boheme is our favorite restaurant in San Diego. We chose it for Valentine's day due to it's consistency and the warmth of the environment. We were engaged after dining there one year ago, so of course we wanted to go back and recreate that magical evening. I am always leery of price fixed menus, but with Bleu Boheme, there is no need for doubt. The food is always A+, but it was even more fabulous that normal. My favorites were on the price fix menu and they were better than ever. The brussels sprouts were fantastic and my salmon, oh my gosh, was fabulous. They were generous with the portions. As always the service was beyond compare. Everyone in the restaurant feels like a family member. The owner and head chef is so very gracious and talented. I couldn't give any higher accolades than to Bleu Boheme.

The food was marvelous Giordanos is my go to restaurant for all my celebrations! I love the food plus it is close to my home! The only drawback that night was the noise level! It was a bit loud in the restaurant. They might want to invest in some solutions for that! Other than that, the evening was great. Another suggestion would be to have a piano bar for occasions such as Valentines Day or maybe weekends! We had the 14 oz ribeye and the seafood food ravioli!!)

Our server was fantastic: helped me find a good deal on soup and salad, made sure my younger daughter got all the ranch dip for her chicken tenders that her heart desired. It was busy, but they took care of us nicely. Thank you!

It was a wonderful experience. We were greeted at the door with big smiles and honored our reservation promptly. The waiter was on top of all our needs and even offered suggestions. The lobster was mouthwatering and the margarita was delicious and great becasue it was at a happy hour price.
