It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well.     We have been going to Lynnwood's for many many years and have always had wonderful meals. This last meal was disappointing for me because the ribeye sirloin steak was course and tough and not very good. My appetizers were wonderful. I had the crunchy oysters. the Caesar salad was delicious But my steak dinner and the cream spinach were blah. My wife's dinner was excellent. She had the beef tenderloin dish and a cup of cream of crab soup, which was also excellent. We certainly will be coming back, but I don't think I'm going to order sirloin or ribeye Cut of steak anymore

    This was our second time here. We returned because the service the first time was outstanding and we also enjoyed the food. This visit didn’t disappoint. I took the recommendation of our server, Gabe, for the Chilean Sea Bass. It was perfectly prepared and came with a sauce that was so good I wanted something to sop up the last bits with. I praised it so highly that the Chef came out to say hello. Grill 620 is one of our favorites.

    Victoria does not disappoint. Nothing fancy - just good food prepared well. Our waiter, a former chef, was exceptional. He knew the menu, made strong recommendations, and was attentive throughout the meal. You can’t go to Victoria without getting the duck fat fries. I was a little hesitant to sit out on the patio, but the area was warm and a bit less noisy than the rest of the restaurant. Since, we have moved, we don’t get to Victoria as much as we did in the past. However, when we make the trip, we can be assured of consistently good food and excellent service.

    We had an excellent dinner! Split an order of Brussels sprouts with the liquid feta and they were delish. I ordered the Bohemian Raspberry drink that was so delicious and made me wish I wasn’t driving because I definitely would’ve had another! My dinner was the scallops deluxe and it was delicious. The heath bread pudding ended our meal on a sweet note! Great place and wonderful service. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t great! Worth a visit!
