Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Hoover

I made reservations because it was the day after Valentine’s Day. I was able to get a reservation in the afternoon and they actually seated us earlier. Callie with our server and she was extremely attentive and gave good recommendations. The truffle bread with butter is what we started off with, and that was delicious. I got a glass of the Moscato d’asti and that was very tasty. I got the Bolognese which I had not had before and it was very good. I would definitely get it again. I also got an espresso martini, which was just the perfect strength. It didn’t taste like a lot of alcohol like some of them do. I got the donuts, but they were a little dry. I don’t think I’ll get them again. My date had the tiramisu which was very delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ll definitely be returning again.

It was a good 1st experience. My streak was ordered medium well. It ranged from medium rare to well. Very unevenly cooked, but I was about to eat most of it. Our waitress was good and polite. It was our anniversary, so they gave up some cheesecake bites on the house. It was VERY delicious and appreciated. We will try it again because overall it was good. I'm looking forward to trying other menu items.

We dined here for Valentine’s Day, so to say they were extremely busy is an under statement. Even so, our server, Tiara, was extremely sweet, attentive and efficient. The food was quite good, as well. The appetizer, salads, and main entrees all came to the table perfectly timed. Go check out Saltgrass and ask for Tiara. She’ll take excellent care of you.

We eat here frequently and are always very pleased. They are always fully booked, but I’ve never once had to wait past my reservation time. They handle the flow beautifully. Food is excellent and service always great. We sat outside on patio last night (February) and were toasty warm all evening. All around GREAT job.
