How do you take a classic staple of American dining, the steakhouse, and break down the traditional thinking to create something entirely new and exciting? That was the question that acclaimed chef and restaurateur Sam Marvin (creator of the much-celebrated Los Angeles restaurant Bottega Louie) posed when he decided the time was right to reinvent what has long been the trademarks of the steakhouse genre – masculine vibe, dark rooms, fancy waiters, slabs of oversized beef and overly expensive pricing.     Our experience was absolutely amazing! Bryce was fantastic and our server was incredible. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional! The ambience was festive and we were seated shortly after our arrival because we had a reservation. And this was on Christmas Day! It was awesome, we will use Open Table again.

    We were there for a special Christmas menu. Very well priced for a very nice meal. The prime rib was gorgeous, as were the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. The yorkshire pudding was -- unfortunately -- an overcooked and brittle shell. A misstep that didn't ruin the meal by any means, but it's not something that's often offered on American menus and I'd been looking forward to it as a component. Outstanding service -- the staff are always great at Honey Salt.

    It was our eighth anniversary, and we've dined at the Vintner Grill many times for our dates and birthdays. As usual, the staff and the chefs did not disappoint us. We had a wonderful night seated at the perfect table, and the dining experience was Awesome. Our server was a delight as she was cheerful and courteous. And the staff acknowledged our anniversary which made my wife feel so happy. We will be back again and again.
