We had a 3 p.m. reservation for eight people, and the staff did an outstanding job of getting us seated by 2:45 p.m. We arrived at 2:10 p.m. because the opera “The Magic Flute” ended sooner than expected. The food, beverages, and service were excellent!

This was a fabulous lunch from beginning to end! The service was just out of this world as was the food! I had their marvelous French onion soup to start, and then a large order of steak tartare with pomme fritts! Then to top it all off I had a gorgeous hot fudge sundae with their special ice cream of the week, which was peanut butter and boy was it ever special! All topped up with a mountain of whipped cream and some beautiful toasted almonds. Please don’t share this with my cardiologist.

We always enjoy Axia. The zucchini chips as a shared starter is first rate. There's one vegan option, which is a good idea as my wife is vegan. Their pastitsio is served en croute. Only issue tonight was restaurant was full (good for the owner) but service was a tad slower than usual.
