Great food, service and ambiance… but a terrible reservation system. It may seem like a small thing — but it’s the first experience. The OpenTable reservation system is terrible. We booked two months in advance — which led to innumerable texts, emails, push-notifications, reminders, and multiple confirmations of “I know we asked yesterday… and the day before… and last week… but are you *really* still coming?”. (It takes a lot to get me to complain about a reservation system… but it’s *really* that bad.) However, once you’re seated, the food, service and ambiance of the place is absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend the dining experience.

This location is perfect for a relaxed outing. We sat in the lounge area, which offered comfy seating and a beautiful view of the large fireplace. The service was exceptional, and they made us feel welcome by allowing us to stay longer than usual, giving us plenty of time to enjoy without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s an amazing spot, and we had a fantastic experience!

Ruth’s Chris is more than just a meal. Yes, the restaurant is beautiful. Yes, the menu is varied and offers choices for every palette. Yes, the beverages are also varied and fine. Yes, the food is fantastic. Yes, the food is fantastic! That needed to be repeated. But all of that can be replicated with enough investment and skill. BUT what makes this family of three to have only one choice when it comes to a celebration is the way Ruth ‘s Chris makes us FEEL. We feel welcomed, we feel valued and we feel like we make a difference to the staff. From the lovely ladies at the front desk, to the staff managing the table setup, and more importantly, to our favourite server, Manny - “thank you for choosing us” is communicated over and over again! Manny has been our server for many of our celebrations and his care is so very special to all three of us! He is funny, honest and caring. Can we have a good meal somewhere else? Sure! Can we enjoy a nice dinner elsewhere? Of course! But when we want to recognize a special occasion with a “special” night - there is only one choice for us - Ruth’s Chris, Toronto Airport. Thank you for all the special touches, the team is one unit, with one mission - our enjoyment! It is a success, every time!

It was our first time here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We had an exquisite dining experience last night! The atmosphere is intimate with dim lights, and the interior design is very Renaissance/Baroque inspired. They have an extensive wine list and great food menu. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We got complimentary limoncello and a crème brûlée with a candle which made our experience extra special. When we were leaving, the Bartender/Manager offered us a ride home because they noticed that our ride was taking longer to arrive due to the snow storm. It was a very kind and rare gesture, we will definitely come back again.

I have to commend the greeters and coat check who were very friendly. Our server was amazing and made great recommendations and wine selections for us. The service was impeccable! The food was absolutely delicious, from main course to dessert and the portions were perfect. Definitely a 10 out of 10 would recommend!:-)
