Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Nicholasville

Our trip to Malone’s was great. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server immediately. Our server, Renee, was amazing! She was knowledgeable, had great recommendations, and she was very attentive throughout our visit. As always, the bread and Lexingtonian salad were delicious, and our steaks were even better - seasoned well and cooked just the way we wanted! On our way out several staff members thanked us for dining at Malone’s. All of this makes us want to come back again soon!

Food and service were outstanding. We were seated in the outside covered area near the kitchen. I was disappointed in this choice as I had made reservations and expected a better table. The area was cute and had a roaring fireplace at one end. Unfortunately, our table was on the other end near an emergency exit door. This made the eating environment very cold. I actually put my winter coat back on while I was eating. I would recommend avoiding this area or asking for an additional space heater. It was otherwise an excellent experience.

Malones has the best steaks in Lexington, KY. In addition, they have a very extensive menu with a wide variety of entrees. We have never been disappointed and try to eat here on every visit to Lexington. On this occasion, my husband had the fried shrimp and I had the filet mignon. Both entrees came with huge baked potatoes that we couldn't finished. They were still good when re-heated the next evening. The bourbon selection is also outstanding, and Malones serves one of the very best Old Fashioneds found anywhere. Mark Twain, our server, was new to the restaurant, but did an outstanding job. We definitely will return to the restaurant the next time we are in town.

Delores was the BEST server we’ve had at any restaurant in a long time. She understands how to speak to people which most do not know how to do these days. We appreciated her and will definitely request her every time we go.
