- DDanaChicago / Illinois •31 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAmazing food and service. However, they weren’t sensitive and didn’t ask about food allergies. I am gluten free and was surprised that the Tofu on the stir-fry was fried. The waiter didn’t know what the tofu was coated/battered in. I definitely felt sick afterwards but thankfully it is not a serious allergy.More infoLe Colonial - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Vietnamese• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
- LLouisVIPChicago / Illinois •38 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe lobster and cauliflower Stilton bisque were very nice. They could have been a little warmer. The chicken sandwich and chicken Milanese were excellent. Our service was amazing. Unfortunately we did not get his name so that we could thank him personally in this report.More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.9
- YYvonneVIPChicago / Illinois •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst, kudos to our wait staff, who were pleasant, energetic, and efficient, on a major holiday when the restaurant was extremely busy. Food was excellent. Burrata & prosciutto is delish, and there was plenty for a table of four to share while enjoying cocktails. Pork shank is tender & tasty. Dover Sole was excellent, and deboned at table, as is proper. Pappardelle Bolognese is terrific, and a huge portion. Apple crostata & gelato wrapped up an excellent Christmas meal. We'll be back!More infoTavern on RushPrice: Expensive• Steak• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.4
- RRenePhoenix / Arizona •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGibson's is one of my favorite restaurants of all times. We live in San Antonio but make it a point to make reservations when in Chicago, Because of the holidays, I scheduled reservations 3 months in advance. Service was superb, as always. I ordered the W.R.'s Chicago Cut and was very disappointed. The steak was cold and did not appear anywhere close to 22 oz. My son ordered a 7 oz Filet Mignon, and he was disappointed as it was very dry and overcooked. I know I could have said something at the table, but I didn't want to ruin the moment as we were having such a great time being together. The service was outstanding, and hope that next time it will be the same Gibson's experience.More infoGibsons Bar & Steakhouse - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.7
- LLisaChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe came over to check in about 15 mins before our reservations and we were seared immediately. Everyone was so friendly and polite. The place was decorated beautifully. We love the fairies that come around to the table no matter how old you are. They were so sweet and make the experience even more enjoyable. Our waiter was wonderful so attentive, never having to look for him, always refilling our glasses and providing prompt and friendly service. Food came out quick and was very good. We never felt rushed. We were able to go by the tree and take pictures. It was just a fabulous time. We had our first experience there last year and now we’ve made this an annual tradition. We look forward to many more years to come.More infoThe Walnut Room - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Loop•4.6
