- JJenniferGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was my 3rd time at the George. Food and service never disappoint! Both are exceptional! It’s pricier than other restaurants I typically visit, but it is so worth it! It is super noisy (all three times I have been sat at a 2-person table in the bar area; next time I will request to sit in the dining room area). If you love live music, the bar area is a great place to be, but don’t expect to have both music and conversation; also the locals sitting at the bar area definitely use their outdoor yelling voices to be heard over the music (so if you’re into ease-dropping, this could be your place! lol). In short, the bar is great if you know you’re walking in to a music and conversation room that will limit the amount of conversation you can have at your own table. If you are looking for dinner and conversation, I would not recommend NOT being sat in the bar area.More infoThe GeorgePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.6

The ambiance there is beautiful along side the river with soft warm lighting, small fireplace, local artwork, and peaceful atmosphere with a clean, simple, cultural, and natural look. The menu has a creative and eclectic cuisine. Highly recommended.More infoOwl and DovePrice: Moderate• American• Mystic•4.7
- CCol JackGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a great server, Antonio, very attentive and personable without being over the top. A good local establishment that gives off a neighborhood vibe. Even first timers will feel welcome. The food was amazing, French onion soup was a must on winter evening. I had the special, lasagna, and of course it came with the famous Longo signature meatball. Overall another top shelf dining experience.More infoLongo Ristorante & PizzeriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Westerly•4.8
- JJohnGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoReserved early Valentine’s Day dinner. Got seated immediately. (there were couples waiting, I guess wo reservations) Waitress, Laurie, was very good. Meals were delicious pot roast for me; filet mignon. The filet was supposed to be medium but came well done, but it was taken back and replaced by a new perfectly done one. The waitress was very apologetic as was the manager (?) who offered a free dessert. The atmosphere (being in a historic NE Inn) was the icing on the cake. Been there several times in last 40yrs and always enjoyed it!More infoPublick HousePrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Sturbridge•4.6
