Best Date Night Restaurants in Leighton Buzzard

My husband and I have been searching for a restaurant for Sunday lunch for some now we’ve found it. And what a wonderful experience! There is nothing that we could fault at Lussmanns,Harpenden. Every aspect of our experience there was perfect. I had not thought when I booked to alert the staff that my husband is partially disabled, in that he finds it hard work to walk any significant difference. This doesn’t usually matter as he can walk about 50 m with support from me. We have a wheelchair in the car and and we would use it as appropriate. Today our progress from car to restaurant, a very small distance, was hampered by the fact that the ground was very slippery. Anyway, we made it! And what a joy eating at Lussmans was. The service was impeccable, the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was out of this world delicious, the ambience was quiet despite the restaurant being busy……what’s not to like? As we were leaving we told the lovely man who helped Ken into his wheelchair that we would award them 125 out of 100 and that we would most certainly be back. Indeed we have now decided that we will eat there every Sunday lunchtime if possible. Very well done, Lussmanns Harpenden

The food and the service at this restaurant is exceptional

We went for a special meal to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday and we were not disappointed! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious (the festive cocktails with mock snow effect and gingerbread were a particularly nice surprise), the service was brilliant (friendly, professional and attentive) and the ambience was really special. Thank you so much for making it such a wonderful experience!

Good table with plenty of room for 2. Our waitress was lovely although the supervisor was less friendly. Food was great , service almost too efficient except drinks service which was a bit slow. Good atmosphere for a rainy Sunday evening
