We are an authentic Italian wine café, proud to offer quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetisers across the UK. In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

The touches of racing memorabilia spotted around the hotel demonstrate how proud we are to be situated next to the oldest racecourse in Britain. The impressive racing post mural in the bar takes you back to fabulous memories of race days. The subtle tones and modern twists give The Stables Bar and Grill the opportunity to embrace their history in a smart and contemporary way. We offer an eclectic menu of food and drink in an elegant setting overlooking the Welsh Hills.

Fantastic. Took a seat at the bar for a solo night meal as was in town for work. The Christmas burger was sublime and wine, beer and dessert wine! Service was excellent - friendly and chatty when I wanted and when I was cradling my beer and reading my book, they left me alone. Chips were amazing.

We had a great experience for our anniversary yesterday. We had the premium bottomless brunch. The food was amazing and we had so much of it. The drinks were great and came so quickly. The service was super slick and really friendly. And they were playing great music and people were up and dancing. It was the best bottomless brunch I’ve been to in Manchester and definitely worth paying a little bit extra for!
