- JJoeMemphis / West Tennessee •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur meal at Girl & the Goat was wonderful! The service was friendly and helpful. He knew the menu and ensured our experience delicious. We began our dinner with the naan. The dips served alongside were excellent. Next we enjoyed the chickpea fritters that we crisp with creamy inside, accented by pomegranate. We definitely wanted to try the goat empanadas, and were glad that we did. Our next course that we enjoyed were the wood-fired mussels. The broth was delicious. We ended with the roasted pig face. Our server enticed us with dessert. We finished our meal with the apple hand pie. Overall, we loved this place.More infoGirl & the GoatPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• West Loop•4.8

We ordered everything off the vegan menu and it's so refreshing to have options that are so full of flavor and don't rely on faux meats. One of my favorite places to come in the city. And best green beans in the world!More infoDuck Duck GoatPrice: Expensive• Chinese• West Loop•4.8
- JJeriWisconsin •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have been wine club members since 2014 and Cooper's Hawk is still one of our favorite restaurants. It is consistently a great time enjoying their delicious food and the wine is always top notch. Last evening, Stephanie was our waitress and from our 1st interaction she was nothing but phenomenal. Such a genuine, hardworking woman who really made sure our experience was special. She regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and always had a smile on her face. The Gurnee location has become our favorite due to the staff really going above and beyond. They truly enjoy their jobs and customer service is a top priority. The restaurant is clean, the food is cooked perfectly, the wine is incredible. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you for a wonderful early Valentine's dinner.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Gurnee, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Gurnee•4.6
- SSunshineVIPChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBeautiful atmosphere and decor with incredible views. House music played in the background, the bar is gorgeous and the people are here to see and be seen. Thankfully, the food and service stands up to the see and be seen portion of this experience. Service was amazing, our server was warm, friendly, happy to make suggestions, and funny. We really enjoyed her. The food was delicious - panzanella salad "like summer in a bowl" followed by the wild boar ragu (divinely rich and silky) and then a filete di manzo with parmesan roasted fennel and smashed potatoes. The steak is smoky, with a nice crust on the outside but rare, sweet and tender on the inside. At first, we had FOMO over the pasta, thinking we should have ordered two pastas. Once we had tiramisu for dessert (which was impossibly creamy and rich), we were glad we didn't order a 2nd pasta because we were so full. We ate very well and laughed about it as we rolled out of the St Regis to the car. We had the Blanco Bianco Amargo, a tequila/mezcal drink, and it was divinely crafted with a lovely finish. Everything here is well thought out and carefully executed. I asked our server to surprise me with a glass of red wine suitable for the pasta and steak. She gave me a Barbera, which worked well with the intense richness of the boar and beef. This is a romantic atmosphere, with lots of space and service is such that it allows privacy and the staff understand that. Highly recommend the experience for a date night!More infoTre DitaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.8
