Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). Just had an awesome night out & really can’t fault it. As ever the food was amazing, but I have to say the service was off the scale! Well done to all concerned but particularly our server Sylvester who went beyond expectations. It’s not cheap, but we feel it was really good value for money & we will be there again very soon.

Absolutely loved the food. The service was also excellent, and super attentive. The only negative was we had the big round table very close to the opening and the noise from the Atrium is quite loud and so we had to shout to hear each other. But otherwise fab restaurant - the food was delicious.
