Set in Kansas City’s historic City Market, Brown and Loe Restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is a blend of “big city” bistro with the welcoming casual flavor of a neighborhood favorite. Housed in a former Merchant’s Bank constructed in 1920, the restaurant honors the architectural details of the two-story building which features a façade of plate glass and verde marble floors and walls. In the 1940’s, Brown and Loe was originally a produce broker with offices on the second floor of the Merchant’s Bank building. The new Brown and Loe Restaurant celebrates the techniques of curing, pickling and smoking meats, beautifully interpreted into marvelous American comfort cuisine.     Fantastic experience!! Due to a change of plans, we arrived about an hour early for our reservation on Christmas Eve and they were kind enough to accommodate us right away. I also want to mention that we originally booked a standard table but the high top was even better for the views and ambiance. We sat right in front of the most beautiful mahogany bar and got to watch the bartenders climb up and down the super high ladder. The food was all exceptional but the baked pimento cheese tray was to die for. The fresh baked sourdough bread was also phenomenal. We had mostly seafood and everything was delicious.

    Dining at Lidia's on Christmas Eve is my wife and I's tradition for many years. We enjoy the festive and friendly environment from the time we enter to the time we leave. The menu always offers our favorites and helps in making it a dining experience. Thank you to the servers and staff who make this a special evening.

    My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience on Christmas Eve, 2024… Even with the busyness of a holiday night the service/food was quality.. Seasons 52 never seems to disappoint, our steaks and sea scallops were cooked to perfection  They have a nice wine selection, we had the Crianza 2019 Rioja which paired amazing with our food choices… and don’t forget about their shot glass desserts, perfect small bites after a large meal… I had the pecan pie and my husband had the chocolate on chocolate cake .. Thank you seasons 52 for a wonderful date night holiday experience with my husband.
