Best Restaurants for Foodies in North York / Don Mills

Our experience was absolutely fantastic starting right when we stepped out of the elevator. We were promptly greeted and shown our table. The server was amazing. His knowledge of the drink choices made it easy for us to decide what we wanted to go with our dinner. We had the tasting menu and definitely recommend it. Everything came out with a beautiful presentation. The food was prepared perfectly and the flavours were amazing. Everything was excellent! We very much look forward to going back again!

This was our second visit to Giulietta and it was just as good as the first time we experienced it! The grilled octopus was just as good as we remember and our new favourite dish was the stuffed gnocchi with shaved truffle. Also the service was on another level as we wanted to shoutout Sergio who was checking in on us the whole night while also sending out dishes. We will definitely be planning our next visit to Giulietta as each time get better and better.

Great atmosphere, incredible menu and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely adding this to my list of top tier restaurants. Food was 10/10. Every ingredient worked harmoniously with each other and you could tell it was carefully created to make an ultimate dining experience. Their non-alcoholic options are next level. Got the virgin espresso martini and it was unique. It took a few sips to get a sense of the flavour profile but it was really good. The staff was great. Our server was very friendly, informative and helpful when going over the menu. He checked in after each dish and made sure we were taken care of. Our reservation was right when they opened for dinner. We had a great view overlooking Toronto and the atmosphere was quiet and quite peaceful. I would gladly dine here again and will recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you to everyone at The Canoe for such a great experience.

Food was good- integrated and balanced flavours. We got the Grilled Halloumi, Lamb Croquette, Wagyu Carpaccio, Sea bream, fries and Grilled beets (very good). Service was great- Michelin worthy for sure. Accidently dropped my napkin and the server immediately picked it up and gave me a new one, water always refilled and orders came out reasonably quick. Ambience was lovely- not too loud. Has an open kitchen which is always nice and entertaining in itself.
