Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

Este restaurante de inspiración asiática y cocina a la leña cuenta con un menú de platillos variado y se centra en un servicio profesional, pero relajado y un compromiso con las prácticas verdes.     Impeccable service and beautiful food. Do yourself favor and order 2 Tostadas and don’t skip dessert! Also their St Germain Spritz is the perfect sweet and refreshing cocktail after a long hot day. So glad we snagged a reservation and saved this gem of a restaurant for our last day in CDMX! BTW, I overheard another patron talking about this being their 3rd time eating at the restaurant (they’re from Spain) and they also had a reservation for later next week!

    My husband and I spent a month in Mexico City eating in a different restaurant from the Michelin Guide each evening. Migrante was by far the best. The atmosphere is lovely, the waitstaff is excellent and the food is inventive, beautifully presented, reasonably priced, and delicious.

    Food and ambiance excellent. Dinner was a little more than I anticipated. Restaurant might be a little over staffed, always had somebody hovering. My wife and I ordered Burrata with arugula, the table served Caesar salad and Grilled fish prepared table side by Hugo. The food was spot on. They also have a drummer who does about a 12 minute set at 830 and 930…he really gets the place going. We told the servers to take their time as we were in no hurry, glad we did. They are on things so quickly. Definitely the evening was great.
