Great ambience, phenomenal food, the service could have been better but it got busy and the bar tender server was nice as well.

We've had quite a bit of food from here, recently, and here are our thoughts... Sliders: 10/10 Stuffed Mushrooms: 10/10 Steak and Tots: 10/10 Escargot: (Charred) 2/10 NY Strip: 10/10 Bacon Wrapped Filet: 8/10 Asparagus: 9/10 Lump Crap/Sauces: 9/10 Bread: 10/10 Au Gratin Potatoes: 10/10 Grilled Veggies: 8/10 (carrots undercooked) Dessert Trio: 10/10 Creme Brulee: 10/10 Paloma: 9/10 Blueberry Cucumber Martini: 10/10 Service: 10/10 (knowledgeable, swift, personal, upselling) Lighting/Environment: 10/10 Definitely will be back! Porkchops and Seafood next visit!

We were celebrating a birthday and the staff made sure to make it feel extra special. We sat at the bar but it still felt intimate and we’re able to still talk to each other. Every dish we ordered was excellent. The octopus dish was the most memorable. Do not skip dessert. The olive cake is a top dessert in ATX for me. Great service and honestly well worth the price.

Great food and great cocktails. The ambiance was lovely and the service was knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. The queso flameado with short rib mole was sumptuous and delightful. The seafood tostadas (atun and la vida vuelta) were light and delicious, perfectly balanced with piquant spice and velvety avocado. The tlacoyo is a must try. Happy hour cocktails are half price and are all excellent. We have been coming to La Condesa since it opened in 2009, the year we got married. We no longer live in Austin, but we come back to La Condesa for special occasions when we are back in town. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. The ambience, the food and the service. I’m picky about cocktails. The Duchess might be the best one I’ve ever had. Brioche bread was a die for, I ate the entire loaf alone. 100 layer cake was stunning and also delicious. This just beat out my number one favorite, Jeffery’s in town.
