Best Restaurants for Groups in Erdington

What a very pleasant restaurant with friendly staff and fantastic food.. Definitely will go again as the atmosphere was very warming.

This was our first visit here and after a family function at the symphony hall we can e here. We had my mom with us who has very poor mobility, but the staff were really kind and helpful and guided us to the lift to the downstairs restaurant area. The staff were attentive, friendly, interactive and humorous - really great. The food was generally good, with the exception of the braised beef which was tough and fatty - seemed like left over beef slices rather than braised beef. Otherwise, really great evening out Thank you

From arriving, it was a fabulous set up, the lounge where we we had cocktails and canapés was lovely, then after half an hour we were taken to the restaurant upstairs. Course after delicious course arrived and were beautifully presented and explained. We thoroughly enjoyed them BUT as soon as we took the last bite and put the cutlery down, the plate was whisked away before we’d even chewed and swallowed. I did comment each time ‘ that’s too quick’ and it meant that we felt we were on a conveyor belt and rushed. We’d driven up from Kent ( booking an hotel for the night) and arrived at the hotel literally 40 minutes before our seating time and so we were wanting to relax but this meant we were rushed. And as soon as we finished our last course with wine still in our glasses, they wanted to move us back to the lounge for coffee and petit fours but I refused saying I wanted to finish my wine. As we commented to each other and compared it it to Aulis/Raby Hunt/ Frog/ L’enclume/ Roux at Landau/ Gavroche/ Fat Duck etc.. we decided this was far far too rushed and at that very moment I got my phone out and booked Aulis for our 5th time. Nice though Opheem was, I think we’ll stick to our Aktar at Home deliveries that we’ve had for the last 4/5 yrs and have them relaxing at home. The staff were excellent but the management have decided to maximise revenue by processing customers through - very sad.

Best Japanese in town. As usual the food is brilliant and the service so outstanding.

I was very pleased with my recent visit to your restaurant. My daughter and I were with my Father and his wife, who had been before, but it was my first experience. We were told how good the quality was and we weren't disappointed. The food was presented beautifully and kept replenished frequently. The variety of dishes on offer was very good and I was pleased it didn’t offer other nationalities’ food. We haven’t got a restaurant in our area (Coventry) offering the same quality and value and will definitely be back. Thank you Buffet Island we had a lovely evening. Sue & her crew!
