Best Restaurants for Groups in Brantford

My husband and I went to the Keg last night for our anniversary dinner. It was Saturday night just week before Christmas so it was very busy! We had a reservation but because of how busy it was we had to wait a few minutes. They gave us a little shrimp cocktail and a glass of sparkling wine while we waited. We thought that was very nice. Our server was very friendly and we had great service. Even though it was very busy our food came in good time and was amazing. Our steaks were perfectly cooked.

We will be back. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh, and well made. The medium steak was actually medium all the way through. The server and kitchen were happy to accommodate food sensitivities, and make recommendations.

The four cheese dip was delicious and the service was excellent as always.

The window-side table was well situated and the view was lovely. Our server was extremely attentive but not invasive and very friendly. My meal was very good (chicken schnitzel); however, my friend had the trout and it was very light on portion size. I was full after my meal but if I had ordered the trout, I would have been disappointed by the portion size. It was very tasty, however. Overall, this is a great place for special occasions or just a nice venue for a weekday lunch.

What a fantastic experience, literally 11 days before Christmas and our reservation was perfect. Took my 91 year old uncle for his birthday. Our reservations were for 4:00 Pm and we were seated promptly. Our server was so sweet, she even knelt down to speak to us and take our order. We had the best seat in the house, right in front of the cozy gas fireplace. My husband was worried that we were going to get over heated but it was absolutely perfect as the heat rose and we did not feel any heat while were eating! Our meals were 100% cooked just the way we like our meat and it all came from the kitchen fresh and hot! We will be back!
