- JJonathanVIPColumbus •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy wife and I enjoyed a delightful meal at Haru Omakase on February 15. We'd recently had a sushi omakase in Santa Barbara, prepared by a Michelin starred chef and his team. Haru Omakase compared very favorably to that meal, at under 30% of the price. Service was polite and informative. The food came out in "tours" -- I'll call them waves. A soup wave, then three waves of 3 pieces of sushi each, and then a dessert wave. Very nice. I'd gladly come back, and next time will try some of the add-ons to the basic meal.More infoHARU OmakasePrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Polaris•4.8

From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for a night of laughter, great conversation, and celebration. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with our server ensuring that every detail of our experience was just right. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the entrées, every bite was full of flavor, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients. And of course, no Galentine’s Day would be complete without wine, and 1808 did not disappoint! Their wine selection was excellent, perfectly complementing our meal and adding to the festive feel of the evening. We’re so lucky to have such an amazing restaurant in downtown Delaware—1808 truly makes every occasion feel special. Whether it’s a casual dinner or a celebration, it’s always a fantastic choice. Can’t wait to go back! 🍷✨More info1808 American BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Delaware•4.4

Even taking the world as it is, I will need to go back soon. Mastro’s just opened in Columbus, and it truly seems like Rome was built there in a day. The service my wife and I received was unparalleled. From the Moment Nathan brought us to our table, to the moment Izzy picked up our plates, I felt not only the satisfaction of being cared for by the highest category of professionals, but that I was in the company of people who were genuinely invested in making sure we had the most romantic dinner possible. The head of the show was our waiter Christian, who couldnt have treated us better if we were his own family. He gave us recommendations, introduced us to the chef, and at the end of the evening, even gave us a complimentary dessert, which spelled out the occasion we were celebrating in chocolate letters. This is an establishment where the only thing as incredible as the food is the staff’s dedication to radical hospitality. I couldn’t recommend it more highly, and if your night is even half as special as Christian made ours — you’ll never ever forget it. -Will StrykerMore infoMastro’s Steakhouse - ColumbusPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Easton•4.7
