Best Restaurants for Groups in Waterford Township

Lots of birthdays on November 13 including my husbands we went there to celebrate. We had a great time and the food was awesome per usual as always.

We didn't get the server we asked for to wait on us even though he was working. There were only two of us but the hostess wanted to sit us at a 6 top table. Hostess gave us menus but no silverware and did that with every customer. All servers had to then go get the silverware for their guests which is more work for servers.

Food was great. Delivery timing imperfect so table was crowded with really big plates and bowls, but that’s minor. Friends were half way through entrees when mine finally arrived due to a prep mistake in the kitchen. I received a free dessert as compensation, but that wasn’t necessary. Thoroughly enjoyable, but it added up quickly. Two entree salads, a shared matzo soup, an app shared with our friends, a soda, and a coffee, and we were pushing $80. But everything was delicious, of high quality and prepared correctly. Worth it, in my opinion. Dinner companions liked their meals, but thought 4 standard-sized shrimp was a bit short of a serving size.

Folks tend to give chain restaurants, especially venerable ones such as Red Lobster, short shrift across the board, but usually in terms of quality. Let it be known that both my dinner companion and I, two women who have dined across the world, were more than pleasantly surprised by the friendly, customer-focused service and the quality of our food. From our appetizers through to dessert, our food was well-seasoned, fresh, and tasty. Our server made excellent suggestions, checked on us frequently, and made us feel like regulars despite a few infrequent visits over the course of several decades. I would absolutely recommend this location and will soon be back.
