- AAndreaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTop notch evening at Black Grape. The Abroath Smokie Arancini in Cullen Skink cream was to die for...as were the cocktails. Have recommended to colleagues already and will be visiting again when next in Edinburgh. Thanks you Black Grape (you have a amazing team!)More infoThe Black GrapePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• The Royal Mile•4.9
- RRaoufLondon •37 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have been to Edinburgh on several occasions but tried to avoid eating at restaurants on the Royal Mile as they are perceived as too touristic. So we were very pleasantly surprised when we tried Angels with Bagpipes as the food was excellent and staff very friendly.More infoAngels with BagpipesPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Old Town•4.6
- RRaoufLondon •37 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe make sure that we always eat here whenever we are in Edinburgh. Wish they had a branch in London. Had breakfast one day and brunch the next. Make sure you book in advance as it's always very busy.More infoLoudons New WaverleyPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Edinburgh•4.6
- AAidanGlasgow/Lanarkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoExcellent evening, great food the Galician Chateaubriand was especially good, great service from a very knowledgeable waiter and some special touches made for our anniversary. Restaurant was slightly loud, but it was a busy Friday night so to be expected.More infoThe Spanish Butcher - EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Town•4.6
- DDerekLas Vegas •4 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024A lukewarm reception as I don’t think the gentleman who booked us in and took our menus uttered a single world to us when we arrived. He just collected the menus from their storage shelf and headed for the table. Not to worry though as (spoiler alert!) the food was excellent! It’s also fair to say he warmed up once we were seated and looked after us well. Overall I’d say this was a very enjoyable evening. We went for the Festive Set Menu which is terrific value! The portion sizes were generous too. My wife’s turkey was thick, juicy and flavourful and my Flat Iron Steak was perfect. A five star experience, just a pity about the blasé welcome.More infoBread Street Kitchen & Bar — EdinburghPrice: Moderate• British• New Town•3.8
