- JJulieVIPNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI was dying for Chinese food so I came here with my family and when they told me they didn’t have eggrolls because they were an authentic Chinese restaurant, I got worried that maybe I only like Americanized Chinese food and I wouldn’t like O Mandarin. I was sooo wrong! The food was amazing! It tasted a bit different from American Chinese restaurants but in a great way. We got the sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, Mongolian beef, fried rice, chao mein, wonton soup, spring rolls and spare ribs. The spring rolls and spare ribs were not our favorite - they were ok but we’ll probably skip appetizers next time we come here. The main meal was AMAZING though. It’s also worth noting that the meals are shareable. It was only 4 of us and we each got our own entree but it was way too much food. The prices are reasonable when you consider how big the portions are. The service was great as well. We will definitely be back!More infoO Mandarin - HicksvillePrice: Expensive• Chinese• Hicksville•4.6
- KKenyaNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoPappa Gallo in Rockville Centre offers a vibrant dining experience that beautifully showcases authentic Peruvian cuisine. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try the Chicharrón and a Mixto Salad. The Chicharrón offered a delightful sweet sauce with a bit of tang. The accompanying mixed salad was fresh and provided a refreshing balance. The short ribs were so tender as well. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring that all guests felt welcomed and well-cared for. The restaurant’s décor is inviting, adorned with beautiful artwork that adds to its charm. I can’t forget about the amazing woman singing and playing the guitar. She has a beautiful voice and the song selection was perfect. Overall, Pappa Gallo is a must-visit for those seeking a genuine taste of Peruvian cuisine in a lively and welcoming setting.More infoPappa GalloPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Rockville Centre•4.5
- LlenaNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Feb 2025Dined for the first time on valentine’s day, the food and service were AMAZING! Don’t remember the name of our server but he was sweet, attentive, and informative about everything. We ordered the garlic aioli fried calamari and the mozzarella sticks with vodka sauce- by far the best appetizers i’ve ever had. For entrees, the rigatoni & burrata and caesar salad with grilled chicken was delicious and had enough to bring home for left overs! Will definitely be coming back!More infoAvenue Social Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Bellmore•4.8
