Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Always exceptional dining. The Sunday roast is unmatched to that of any others we have sought in search of the perfect roast. So much so that we recently visited the Heston Blumenthal’s establishment [The Hinds Head] in Bray for a Sunday roast, and whilst the lunch was faultless, we and accompanying friends believe it didn’t match that of the Gables.

If we could give 10 stars we would! This is such a wonderful restaurant. The food, wines, service , ambience are all outstanding! To pick a few items off of the menu, I would recommend the gnocchi, which is homemade and outstanding + the modernese pizza is one my favourites. The quality of the ingredients and all the food is always guaranteed.
