Water Lane is a restaurant based within a working market garden in the High Weald of Kent. Guided by the seasons, our menu reflects its sense of place in the English countryside where we grow our own vegetables and use local suppliers. From cocktails to coffee excellent food and service. The chefs surpass anything you could imagine and all of the staff are friendly fun and attentive. Couldn't recommend a better place to spend an evening enjoying cocktails and superb food.

We had an excellent lunch at the Stilebridge yesterday. We shared the starter of meatballs and the sticky pudding dessert and both were very tasty. Unusually my husband and I both chose the same main, pork sirloin. The pork was very tender and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Food was very good and staff were polite. Service could have been better as waiting staff were not as proficient as you would expect. Manager was engaging and polite and friendly. Overall experience was good and we will return.
