Best Restaurants for Groups in Kernersville

The food and service were both outstanding. The Caprese with Burrata is a must-have, and the cheese spread on the pretzel roll was SO good. Filet mignon was very good, and I am going to have dreams about the scalloped potatoes. Also had Kahlua espresso cheesecake for dessert which was incredible. The steaks both came out cooked at least one step higher than requested, but we never mentioned it - they were still delicious. Manager dropped by to check on us and chatted for a couple minutes and was very nice. The decor is dated by about 30 years, if that’s something you care about. I don’t. The layout of the restaurant is very comfortable with room to move. We’ve been in Winston for seven months now, and this is the first restaurant that we could truly give a five-star rating to, and we can’t wait to go back - I’d go back just for the burrata alone.

Magnolia Blue did not disappoint. The food is amazing but the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff really makes it top tier. Tonight we enjoyed Shrimp Tempura, which was prepared very well. We also enjoyed baby back ribs, with collards, and fries. Ribs were tender and perfectly flavored and the collards were my absolute favorite. The salmon we ordered may have been a little well done for my liking, but the flavor paired with collards and grits were delicious. We finished the evening with tiramisu, creamy and flavorful as well. The dining room was very lively. It did get a little loud where you could not hear conversation across the table, but we still enjoyed our visit.

Good meal. Three of us had the She-crab soup which was excellent. Two of my sons had burgers, one with blue cheese and one with pimento cheese. They both said they were very good. My other son had salmon with a bourbon glaze which he raved about. My wife enjoyed her Mountain Trout. I had the catfish which was good. The mustard creole sauce wasn’t too exciting and the Cole slaw serving was a little small, but very good. All in all I would say this was a much better meal than the previous two times that we have been here which were meals that were okay but kind of bland.

Excellent, as always. The food was delicious, delivered to our table promptly, and the server was friendly and professional, checking on us enough to ensure we were satisfied and didn't need anything. I got the wood fired salmon over polenta which is my go-to favorite. It was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the chicken salad croissant which was huge and came with a large pile of fries. She didn't realize that fries came with the sandwich, so they brought her another vegetable substitute and let her keep the fries. I always have an enjoyable dining experience at Green Valley Grill.

We had brunch on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. Our waiter, John, was very professional and personable. He recommended dishes and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Afterwards, we moved to the bar where Carson made some delicious blackberry bourbon sours. He was also very personable and friendly. This was my second visit here, and both experiences were excellent.
