Best Restaurants for Groups in Lake Geneva

Used to be my all time favorite restaurant. When we first started going to Wildfire, my horseradish crusted fillet was $36. It’s now $58. I’m sure it was at least 20 years ago, but that is one outrageous increase in price. It prevents us from going to the restaurant more often than we do. Now if we go once a year, it’s just a special treat. We used to go a lot more often. However, times, Covid, etc. are all reasons we can’t go more often anymore. I do believe the prices are totally outrageous. So sad.

My wife and I have never had a bad experience at Hunt Club, the food and service is always top notch. Our server Jess paced our meal perfectly and was very attentive without being intrusive.

To be honest, I was unsure what to expect. Several (about 5) years ago the experience had not been pleasant. So decided to try again; I’m very glad I did - it was an awesome experience. The drinks, their specials, were superb. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, great recommendations. The meal came quickly, everything that should have been hot was, I had a beet salad with feta cheese that was to die for. We splurged on a very nice bottle of wine, my wife’s roasted chicken she said was delicious and while there were two lobster selections, the waitress helped me make a good decision - the result was fantastic, both in size, appearance & taste. Admittedly we spent more than I intended, however it was worth every dollar! Oh I should mention the small but nice raw bar; I have some familiarity with oysters and the NB selection was excellent. I rarely leave this long or detailed review, however, we will definitely return to the Milwaukee Harbor House and strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a great restaurant experience!!

Very busy night, we were sat as soon as they got a table clear. Service was as expected for such a busy night. It’s our tradition to have a “fancy” dinner for Christmas Eve with my kids and I. They didn’t disappoint! Food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. We will be returning.

Absolutely loved the food and ambience. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the staff greeted us with 2 glasses of champagne and for dessert, chocolate covered strawberries. I highly recommend this place.
