Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table. On a busy ,at the same time, nondescript street in Kentish Town, almost unnoticed, sits a hidden gem, Parakeet Pub. The pub is charming itself when you step through the door but venture furter in and you'll be pleasantly surprised by a beautiful dining room at the far end of the pub Yes, you've ventured in off Kentish Town High street and discovered another world of fine dining, fabulous food and charming helpful staff. Highly recommended.
