The Warwick Castle is a lovely locals haunt set in the heart of Little Venice, welcoming visitors and neighbours to the area since 1848. Although updated the changes have been faithful to the original decor and charm of the building. We pride ourselves on our genuine friendliness and warmth. There is something for each customer to enjoy, whether it is a chilled glass of delicious wine enjoyed at our outside tables in the lovely mews of Warwick Place on a sunny afternoon or stopping for a pint and slice of homemade sausage rolls in front of our open log fires on a winters evening, we welcome you all.

Maida Vale has a relaxed, neighbourly vibe, so it’s no surprise to find Red Pepper here among the stuccoed houses and well tended gardens. With its buzzy, bistro feel, this restaurant has stood the test of time, serving Londoners good food since 1994 (a lifetime in restaurant terms). Many locals, some of them good cooks and cookery writers, regard Red Pepper as their home away from home. The authentic pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, is just one reason diners keep coming back; another is the friendly welcome which greets them. Cosy and informal, Red Pepper invites you to enjoy delicious homemade pasta, grills, and fresh seafood from all over Italy including the forgotten regions of Sardinia and Campania.

From the moment you are greeted the team at Hawksmoor make you feel welcome. We were seated in a very comfortable booth and menus and ordered taken quickly with helpful advice on the size of cut to order as we wanted a large cut for the table of 4. I had a glass of the South African red but actually my second glass of the house red was even better. Dessert was great too. Highly recommend.

We love The Red Pepper. From the moment we enter to the moment we depart we savor the warm ambience, attentive and friendly wait staff, efficient but in no way hurrying service, and superb food. The menu is various and inventive without forgetting traditional favorites, and each recipe is prepared with fresh ingredients. Fish and meat is tender; vegetables are firm but not raw; sauces are perfectly spiced; pasta is al dente; and salads are crisp. This is a neighborhood gem for sure!
