- WWilliamWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFilomena is a wonderful place to have special occasions or just a fancy dinner. We've been there several times and each time it has been exquisite. If you aren't watching your waistline, anything in the Cardinale sauce is to die for. It can be a bit pricey, you get what you pay for and then some. Easily one of my favorites in the area and highly recommended. Can't wait for our next time back.More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a great experience from start to finish! The wines by the glass (sparkling white and red Bordeaux) were delicious. The French onion soup had a flavorful broth and more cheese than I’ve ever seen (no complaints). The lobster bisque ranks right up there when compared to another top rated French restaurant in the DMV. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the accompanying Bordelaise sauce accented it perfectly. We didn’t have room for dessert but ordered it anyway, profiteroles and chocolate mousse. Yum!! The service was attentive, with no mistakes and the ambience on the upper level enhanced the dining experience. The noise level was okay, and I’m glad it wasn’t any louder. The price points were reasonable, given the quality, and there are less expensive menu options. This was our first visit to this restaurant but we will be back!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.3
- SSimeonOrlando / Central Florida East •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWonderful ambiance. There was a knowledgeable staff in regard to drink choices, plenty non-alc choices as well and food pairings. Would definitely go back with people for the 7 course. Love to try the 7 course if individual is ever offered.More infoSHIA RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Korean• Washington•4.9
- LLizNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was delicious. We ate far too much because it was all so good! We started with the Jumbo Lump Crab Dijonnaise, Oysters Rockefeller. Our entrees were the Crab Cake (1 was enough after the appetizers), and Leidy’s Duroc Pork Chop. We ended with the Bread Pudding. All of which was outstanding. Over the course of our meal, my partner ordered a Bloody Mary and an Old Fashioned from the bar. He said the Bloody Mary was good but had too much Old Bay which settled at the bottom of the glass (the giant shrimp was a nice addition though). He raved about the Old Fashioned and said it was one of the best that he’s had. Our server Gabby gave us great recommendations and she was super friendly. I highly suggest making reservations in advance.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
- CCatherineVIPWashington, D.C. Area •31 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Jan 2025While others have raved about t at The General Store, I had not eaten there in a few years and under new management and chef. Well...it lived up to what I had been told. I had shrimp and grits and outside of New Orleans, they are the best I've ever had. Tender, sweet shrimp and the sauce over the excellent grits was unlike any I have ever tasted on this dish or any other. Unique and scrumptious. My companion had the rack of lamb and loved it. The waitress was friendly and funny and never seemed stressed even though she handled many tables. She did it with aplomb. I think the decor and ambience are better than in past years, but the chairs are not comfortable, probably because they are the kind you would you use in the office break room. Strange, because the wooden tables were most attractive. That said, I can't wait to go back.More infot at The General StorePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• St Michaels / Tilghman Island•4.9
