Best Restaurants for Groups in Oxnard

The wine tasting experience was amazing as usual. The "winetenders" were attentive and very friendly. The food at Tierra Sur was delicious as always.

The food was amazing! The dishes were absolutely delicious. The crabcake was full of flavor, and the vegan pasta was fantastic. You do need to add the salmon, which comes separately for an additional charge of $20 for a slice to go on top of the pasta. The lavender cocktail was delightful—very flavorful—and the blueberry cocktail was also excellent. Upon our arrival, we got there a couple of minutes early and had to wait until our reservation time. The table we were seated at was a bit wobbly, and they had to come over to clean the area. One thing to note is that if you visit in the evening or afternoon, be aware that many hotel guests walk around the restaurant, which can be uncomfortable, though it’s not uncommon. At the end of our dinner, we paid our bill, but the only uncomfortable situation we encountered was with our waitress, who seemed dissatisfied with the amount of tip we left. While the service was good, it felt unprofessional for the restaurant to allow their waitstaff to approach customers about their tips or to ask for more. Overall, while the food and drinks were excellent, the service experience left something to be desired.

I made a reservation for us ahead of time on Open Table. We we seated close to on time for that reservation. Our service was outstanding. We had to be patient though. They were very busy because it was Valentine's Day weekend. So we had to wait for everything. The drinks, the appetizers, the meal. But the server did offer to pull our meals when we ordered the appetizers because he knew they were busy and didn't want us to have to wait for them. Which was very thoughtful and professional on his part. Great place for a date night or special occasion. Not for a family dinner.

Went to try out the brunch, we were a party of seven. Food was excellent!! They had lots of different choices , seafood, taco bar, omelette station and even some Menudo, which was one of the best I’ve ever had!! There were so many choices of different food I wish I could have tried them all but got to full. Oh and I can’t forget the bottomless mimosa’s . Our server was always checking on us to make sure everything was good, great customer service!!! We will definitely be back!

It is very loud, they pump club music like a rave, food was decent, very lively place for sure but not a place you can have a conversation with anyone
