- SSusanSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were led to believe this was an upscale restaurant, country club casual. We expected this atmosphere. Next to us was a a husbands, donned in a baseball cap, his wife and two children. The children were loud, obnoxious, and continued with antics sprawling about there space. Other diners were shouting for attention at their tables, the noise level was over the top. I wanted to stand up but I’d have to scream, Quiet Down…. It was deafening, unbearable.More infoNINE-TENPrice: Expensive• Californian• La Jolla•4.7

This Christmas Eve, my family and I broke from tradition and chose to dine at Red O instead of our usual steakhouse or seafood spot. It turned out to be a fantastic decision, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Our meals were nothing short of exceptional. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, while the Chicken Enchiladas were a savory blend of spices and comfort. The Rack of Lamb was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning, and the Surf & Turf offered a delightful combination of succulent grilled lobster and a juicy steak. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The service was also outstanding. Both the management and the staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every need was met with warmth and professionalism. It was clear that they were dedicated to making our holiday meal special, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. And of course, save room for dessert. The Tres Leches Cake was an absolute standout—a light, decadent treat that’s a must-try. If you’re a fan of butter cake, the version here is an indulgence you won’t want to miss. Overall, Red O provided the perfect setting and exceptional dining experience for our Christmas Eve celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a festive atmosphereMore infoRED O Taste of Mexico - La JollaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• La Jolla•4.4
- LLaSan Diego •13 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoTable service was outstanding. We got the filet mignon, truffle Mac n cheese, 1/2 order of oysters, bread, and the Maine scallops w/ shrimp on risotto. It was all delicious and cooked perfectly. Only thing I would have changed is adding a little more seasoning to the risotto but honestly it was cooked pretty well.More infoThe Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar- La JollaPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• La Jolla•4.4

I didn’t know because it was Christmas Eve and people were waiting for a table or just she wanted to get the job done . The margarita I ordered today was not much alcohol in it, even I ordered a second one with double shot, still pretty light. Other than that, the food was good like always.
