This elegantly attired restaurant, named after one of the oldest civilizations in the world, offers a menu that features many classic dishes from the Indian subcontinent like an assortment of kebabs, curries and biryanisslow cooked rice dishes which feature vegetables or meat and many aromatic spices. However, the menu at Indus Valley / Manhattan Valley also has some unusual offerings like chicken chat and chicken samosas, which do not normally feature on menus of Indian restaurants.     This was a really great place to come for Lunar New Year! It was decorated and festive and they offered a prix fix menu that was perfect for our table ( we were 5) we did add some items from the standard menu too to round out our meal. The food was delicious and service excellent. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived too, very affordable ! We will return again.

    The food was delicious. They had started restaurant week early so one of us ordered off that. The burrata with procuttio was light and creamy, the gnocchi was pillowy and rich. The short rib sliders were full of flavor. Our server was quick and cheerful. The cocktails were also very inventive and good.
