Best Restaurants for Groups in West Austin / Westlake

This is one of my favorite spots in ATX. The fish tacos are amazing, and the snapper al pastor!!!! Their chips and salsa are also amazing. They have great cocktails. The place is modern and beautiful it reminds me of the Yucatán. Next time we sit by the windows I’ll ask them to lower the shades, the sun was a bit strong. Wonderful service and great food!

First time: Made reservations about two months in advance— the place was packed! Everyone was either celebrating something or spending time with loved ones. A great atmosphere! The food was outstanding, a great selection of wines and liquors at the bar. Service was faster than expected, especially considering how busy the place was. Reasonable prices all-around and excellent experience from the staff and the atmosphere.

Very sexy speakeasy in downtown Austin. The drinks, ambience and vibes were amazing. Cute for date night or girls night out as they take your phone so you have to engage in conversation and enjoy the night. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. The ambience, the food and the service. I’m picky about cocktails. The Duchess might be the best one I’ve ever had. Brioche bread was a die for, I ate the entire loaf alone. 100 layer cake was stunning and also delicious. This just beat out my number one favorite, Jeffery’s in town.

Prelude is the perfect destination for any occasion—whether you're celebrating something special, catching up with friends, or simply looking to enjoy a delicious drink in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. We sampled the tartare and the ponzu, and both dishes were great, full of fresh flavours, Prelude is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
