Best Restaurants for People Watching in Albany Park

Had an exceptional meal tonight during our first visit at Osteria Langhe. We kept saying that it felt like we were actually dining in Europe, with quality wine, perfectly sized pasta courses (the plin was particularly memorable), and truly refined second courses (black cod with peas and lentils and a light cream sauce, and prosciutto-wrapped loin of rabbit with mushrooms and polenta) that we will happily order again. The service was great too: just the right amount of attention without feeling fussed over or rushed. This just may be our new favorite restaurant; we’re making plans already to return soon.

The brisket tacos were amazing I had the pink lady cocktail on their special margarita list for February did not disappoint it was very refreshing , I had the guacamole for an appetizer it was very flavorful nice and think

Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The chicken liver was my favorite, the dumplings with huckleberry, my wife's favorite. Service was attentive and friendly. We sat at the "kitchen counter," which was unique, but I think I would opt for the dining room next time.

Food and drinks were good. The music playlist was driving me crazy! Same songs, over and over. Sweet Caroline 5 times in 1.5 hrs. 😳

This was our first time dining here and safe to say all of the food was incredible and service was relatively quick and effortless even on a busy Valentine’s Day/Friday night. Steak tartare was delicious and the lamb shoulder and Wood’s KFC dishes were to die for. We will absolutely be back.
