Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Central Phoenix

We had the Tortellono and Chicken Parmesan sandwich. They were both fantastic. I also had a small Caesar salad which was tasty! The quality was excellent and we will be back!!

Never disappoints. We love this place for the food (excellent), the modern casual ambiance, and the friendly service. If you're looking for a Thai restaurant that's a step up from the typical mom and pop, Soi 4 is awesome!

Came to Roka for Valentine’s Day dinner and was immediately given a red rose upon arrival. 🌹 Nice touch. Had drinks at the bar before being seated and the bartenders were great! Counter dining service was fun, getting to watch all the food be prepped and expo’d made for good conversation. The sushi we had was amazing, especially loved the fatty tuna sashimi served with fresh ground rock salt! The mushroom hot pot was also one of my favorites! Have been to Roka many times in the past and it keeps getting better each time!

The Valentine three-course dinner was wonderful. All six selections were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the scallop citrus ceviche. We were glad we ordered the wine pairing. I had never had Mexican wine before. We learned a lot about it from our very knowledge server. The space is really cool and so is the music. It is right next to the iconic Egyptian Motor Hotel ——-double cool.

A lovely place to which we keep returning.! My out of town guests and I were running late for our reserved time on Valentine’s Day before the restaurant switched over to its late afternoon Valentine’s Day menu. We had run into heavy construction traffic returning from sightseeing. I called and explained the situation and then called again as we got closer. Richard was calm and gracious and said he’d make sure we were seated and indeed we were and delightfully attended to on the relaxing enclosed patio by our cheerful server. Delicious chicken pot pie ! I will keep bringing my out-of-town guests here!
