Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Los Angeles / Orange County

Wonderful environment with delicious food. and good servers.

We had a wonderful experience. This was our first visit to the new location and we will coming back often. The food was delicious and distinctive. The swordfish carpaccio is a standout.

Sasabune always provides a fantastic experience with hands down the best sushi in the entire city of Los Angeles, friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderful ambiance.

Traxx offers good value for the money in an historic setting amid the vaulted ceilings of LA’s Union Station. The companion bar across the way makes good cocktails. They are open 11 to 8 and Traxx is for lunch or an early dinner.

Ambiance was the best part of this Chado location in Little Tokyo. Service was a bit slow as there was only one host and one server on a weekend. Tables were spaced out enough to have quiet conversation with your guest/party. Sit outside for the best atmosphere. What would have elevated the experience: a thoughtful, brief rundown of each type of tea and history of Chado.
