Opened in summer of 2020, Yalla brings a Mediterranean smokehouse to the heart of the Multnomah Village neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Walk in's are welcome! Group larger than 8 people can contact us directly for unlimited custom packages. Food and Beverage Minimum spend $45 for a la carte for larger groups. We are open Tuesday thru Saturday 12pm to 9:30pm. We are a small family owned Italian restaurant, which takes pride in serving delectable meals to our guests. Our outdoor patio is covered. Due to limited seating we cannot guarantee your reservation will be assigned indoors, and hold your table for more than 10 min past your reservation time. $20 no show fee per person will be charged.We are a scratch kitchen, all our (vegan) pastas, breads, desserts, sauces, salad dressings are homemade.     One of the reliable Grill restaurants in Portland is the Oswego Grill, with its multiple locations but uniform menu and ambience. The selection for Sunday Brunch is outstanding. There is something highly creative for everyone. The Grilled Salmon hash is both delicious and a good value. There were at least 40 great choices! The family atmosphere allows both privacy and quiet conversation.

    The food at Yalla was all delicious, the hummus with burnt ends and radicchio salad to start were so incredibly flavorful. The short ribs, skewers and delicate squash were all wonderful. Cocktails were well made and good wine as well. This place does not disappoint, so lucky to have it so close to home!!!

    Here is my take: Service: Outstanding: Attentive without being overwhelming, polite, and most importantly knowledgeable. Food: Delicious. Noise: We were there mid-week at 2 PM, A+ Wine Selection: The waiter knew his "stuff". We had two excellent bottles of wine. Overall: A+
